Sherlock Holmes (PG-13)

Sherlock Holmes movieSpoiler summary: Robert Downey Jr. stars as the legendary London sleuth Sherlock Holmes, joined by Jude Law as dear Dr. Watson, in this Guy Ritchie reinvention of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s oft-adapted detective series. Based on a comic book by producer Lionel Wigram, the story follows Holmes and Watson as they face off against the villainous Blackwood (Mark Strong). Rachel McAdams co-stars as quick-witted beauty Irene Adler.

Now cheating on the younger woman for whom he left Jane, Jake wants his ex-wife back. And Jane’s having as much fun being the other woman as she is getting to know Adam.

Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney provide the voices of the three miscreant marmots.

A connection he builds with Alex Goran (Vera Farmiga), however, might change his outlook on the future. Jason Reitman’s smart comedy also stars Jason Bateman as Bingham’s boss, Craig.

Nine movieSpoiler summary: Film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) faces a midlife crisis and struggles to complete his latest movie while juggling relationships with a few too many women, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penélope Cruz), a muse (Nicole Kidman), his producer (Judi Dench) and his mother (Sophia Loren), in this musical based on the Broadway smash. Chicago director Rob Marshall takes the helm and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas and Kate Hudson co-star.
